Join the Bike Bus Movement!

Eugene and Springfield are
Riding Together, Growing Together

A Bike Bus is like a school bus but way cooler. Instead of wheels on a bus, it’s pedals powering a group of students, families, and neighbors all biking to school together. It’s a rolling party that builds confidence, independence, and community. One ride at a time.

Start a Bike Bus at Your School

Help students ride together safely, build an active community, and have fun on the way to school! Parents, guardians, teachers, and community members, anyone can start a Bike Bus!

Starting a Bike Bus is easier than you might think. Here are some resources to get you started:
1. Plan Your Route - Explore BikeBus.World for resources for route planning tips.
2. Spread the Word - Invite others to join! Share the information with everyone via fliers, emails, school bulletin boards or newsletters.

Need more ideas? Check out Oregon Safe Routes to School biking resources page for step by step guidance. You’ll find a Bike Bus Toolkit, Family Biking Guide, and how-to’s for fitting helmets safely.
